Terms & Conditions 

Regular Programmes 2024

1.0 Applications 

1.1 Parents must complete and sign the enrolment form before the start of class. We can only confirm placement once full payment has been received. If parents wish to make any changes after the application has been processed, please notify our office in writing.

1.2 Enrolments are confirmed in the order they are received.

 

1.3 New students must attend an assessment session prior to the class. A fee of HK$280, which covers the registration and the face-to-face assessment, will be charged. The fee must be paid before the scheduled face-to-face assessment appointment.

 

1.4 Following the assessment, we retain the right to assess a student's suitability for our class based on their ability and cooperation.

1.5 Assessment fee is not refundable.

 

2.0 Trial Class  and Regular Class

2.1 After the assessment, a trial class will be scheduled. Please note that the trial class schedule can only be changed once. Any subsequent changes will incur an administration fee of $250 per change.

 

2.2 After the trial class, you can book regular classes. Please be aware that the starting date of the regular class can only be changed once. Any subsequent changes will incur an administration fee of $250 per change.

2.3 For group classes, Real Music reserves the right to design the curriculum and choose the songs to be sung based on the skill levels of the students. The specific song selection is at the discretion of our vocal teachers.

 

3.0 Absence, Make-up Class, Withdrawal

 

3.1 In the event that a child is unable to attend a class, parents must notify us in writing (via WhatsApp or email, excluding voice messages) at least 4 hours prior to the class. Failure to do so will result in no make-up classes being arranged and the class will be charged.

 

3.2 Students must enrol for a full term consisting of 8 classes. Each term allows for a maximum of 2 make-up classes, which cannot be carried over to the next term or refunded. Students may choose to make up the missed class in any other comparable class that we suggest. However, individual make-up classes will not be offered, and a missed make-up class cannot be rescheduled.

 

3.3 No refund will be provided if a student withdraws from the course before completion. The remaining classes cannot be transferred to others and will only remain valid for a period of 60 days.

 

3.4 If a student wishes to withdraw from the course, it is necessary to provide a two-week advance notification via WhatsApp or email. Failure to do so will result in the lesson fee continuing to be charged. Please note that voicemail notification will not be accepted.
 

4.0 Attendance
 

4.1 We closely monitor the attendance and performance of students in class. If a student has a poor attendance record, such as taking more than 2 leaves per term, consistently being late for class, or not showing up at all, Real Music reserves the right to reject their application for the next term.

 

4.2 FOR DANCE STUDENTS – Students are allowed to take a maximum of 1 leave per a 2 month term. There are exceptions during holiday seasons such as Christmas, Easter and summer holidays, but we must be notified at least a week in advance.  The class will only be opened if we have a minimum of 3 students.
 

5.0 Parental Accompaniment

 

5.1 Parents are not permitted to stay in the studio to watch their children during classes or recording sessions. We kindly ask parents and guardians to wait outside the studio while the class is in progress. Our teachers have the right to ask any person to leave the studio premises.
 

6.0 Performance

 

6.1 Parents will receive notifications regarding performances via email. We reserve the right to determine the eligibility of students to participate in these performances based on their attendance records and performances in class. Spaces for performances will only be reserved for students who complete the Google Forms provided.

 

6.2 Only regular students will be notified with our current performances and events. If the event has a specific age requirement, we will only notify the group that falls within the appropriate age category.
 

7.0 Request for Instrumental music or new recordings for background tracks 

 

7.1 For private events, there will be a charge of $200 for every ready-made instrumental track requested. If the student requests a piano track that needs to be newly recorded, the charge will be based on the studio rental rate, which is $1500 per hour.
 

8.0 Payments
 

8.1 Payment for 4 classes must be made prior to the start of the first lesson. We accept payment through the following methods:

 

-Cash

-Cheque (Payable to: Real Music Production Ltd.,

-Bank in (The Bank of East Asia (BEA): 015-514-10-402032-6) 

-FPS (FPS ID: 160 201455 Real Music Production Ltd.)

Please send us the receipt by email or WhatsApp. 

8.2 Payment must be received within seven working days after the invoice has been issued. It is important to note that we reserve the right to refuse admission if payment has not been received on or before the first date of each course.

 

8.3 For new students who enrol partway through the course, tuition fees will be pro-rated based on the remaining classes. However, please note that priority will be given to students who have paid for the full course.

8.4 All classes must be paid for in full prior to the start of the class. Students are not permitted to attend group classes without having made the required payment. Failure to pay for a class in advance may result in the student being denied entry to the class. Real Music reserves the right to suspend or dismiss any student whose account is overdue.

 

9.0 Late Payment Penalty

 

​9.1 Payment is expected to be made within 7 days of the due date. If payment is not received within this timeframe, a penalty of $150 will be charged per month. It is important to note that if payment is not received within 21 days from the due date, we reserve the right to ask the student to withdraw from the class.
 

10.0 Refunds
 

10.1 We apologize for any inconvenience, but we regret to inform you that no refunds will be made under any circumstances.
 

11.0 Cancellations 

 

11.1 If, for any reason, we have to cancel a workshop, we will notify you as soon as possible. In such cases, we will offer you the option to transfer to another workshop or course of your choice.

 

11.2 Please note that this class requires a minimum of two students in order to open.
 

12.0 Severe Weather Conditions 

 

12.1 Classes will continue as scheduled even under Typhoon Signal 3, Amber Rainstorm Warning Signal, or Red Amber Rainstorm Warning Signal.

 

12.2 In the event that Typhoon Signal Pre-8, Signal 8 or above, or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is hoisted prior to class hours, all classes will be cancelled. The Pre-8 signal indicates that Typhoon Signal 8 is expected to be hoisted within two hours.

 

12.3 In the event of enforced closure due to unforeseen circumstances, such as government regulatory reasons, Black Rainstorm warning, or Typhoon Signal number 8 or higher being hoisted, classes will be cancelled. Please note that in such cases, no make-up, refund, or credit will be issued.
 

13.0 Use of promotional materials 
 

13.1 Please be informed that videos and photos may be taken during classes for promotional use. All rights are reserved by Real Music Production Ltd. If parents have concerns about the use of their child's photos or videos for promotional purposes, they must notify us in advance in writing, either by WhatsApp or email.
