PRODUCTION AND SONGWRITING
Real Music provides a comprehensive pathway for students to develop their original songwriting and elevate their creative concepts into professional-grade tracks. Our instructors and industry professionals guide students through the entirety of the music production lifecycle, bridging the gap between initial inspiration and a finished product.
The program offers hands-on experience in lyrics writing, composition, music arrangement, and professional studio recording. Designed to nurture artistic independence, this structured process equips aspiring musicians with critical technical skills while helping students build a polished media portfolio for future academic and professional pursuits.

Rachel Kar
Role & Discography: B.S. in Music Industry from Northeastern University (First-Class Honours) Singer-songwriter and music producer with four released albums.
Credits: Composed hit tracks for Mandopop/Cantopop stars Joey Yung(容祖兒) and Edan Lui (呂爵安). Film scoring credits include acclaimed projects《明媚時光》and《微交少女》.
Tommy Wong
Role & Education: Nottingham University, Diploma in Contemporary Music Performance;
Professional recording guitarist.
Credits: Featured guitarist for pop icons Alan Tam (譚詠麟) and Alfred Hui (許廷鏗).
Contributor to TVB dramas, variety shows, and major film scores including The Making of Diary of Ip Man《葉問》and Snowball On a Sunny Day《金多寶》.
Rocky Chan
Role & Education: BA in Music Production from Full Sail University; active recording
engineer and bass player since 2015.
Technical Portfolio: Mixed and mastered over 40 songs and albums; logged 600+ hours
of vocal and radio tracking.
Jerry Lee
Role & Experience: Music producer, songwriter, and director with over 20 years in
creative and audiovisual production.
Credits: Collaborated with legendary A-list artists including Leon Lai (黎明), Kelly Chen
(陳慧琳), Leo Ku (古巨基), Miriam Yeung (楊千嬅), Eason Chan (陳奕迅), Kary Ng (吳雨 霏), and Justin Lo (側田).
Visual Portfolio: Award-winning MV director for 林宥嘉 for the film《全世界誰傾聽你》. Spearheaded branded commercials and promotional videos for major global brands including Giordano, Lowe Alpine x Silvermark, American Express, and Audi.
